Even Déjà vu's money couldn't contain the incident at his safe house. I mean how can you contain it if something blows up on that scale?
The place where once the safe house stood had a crater now. And the place was crawling with police and media. They said the forensics weren't able to find the source of the explosion. No traces of gun powder or Nitroglycerin. They even tried looking around with Geiger counter. But there was no traces of radioactive radiation either. The explosion was massive but otherwise contained.
We were standing beside the crater close enough but far enough not to be noticed by the media or enforcement officers.
Déjà vu was encircled by the media people when he arrived. But he spotted us in the distance and waved at us and started walking towards us.
"I'm sorry."
Said he
"So are we."
We said and stood there for a moment.
"How much it did cost you?"
Asked Rocky,
"What?"
Wondered Déjà vu aloud.
"The devastation, if we could give you the money to cover up your loss."
"Don't you worry about it, Kannahamaru was my friend too. And in any case he gave me a blank cheque beforehand. Which I'm gonna keep as a
souvenir any way."

When we returned home, something fell from between the door and the frame. We looked at it. lying on the floor were two cards. One was The Ace of the spades. The other, Jack.

"What?"
Asked Rocky.
"Jack and Ace"
I said, aloud this time.
